Tatsuya Fukazawa, a member of the popular group "Snow Man," appeared at a cast event for the drama series "The Kidnapping Day" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays at 9 p.m.), which begins on July 8, held in Tokyo. He revealed that he had shaved his leg hair.
In a segment where each cast member talked about their "secrets," Fukazawa confessed, "A little while ago, I went to Hawaii for work and wore shorts. After the broadcast, I did a self-search and saw that X was buzzing about, "Aren't your legs hairy?" (laughs). So a little while ago, I shaved them off." When she rolled up the bottom of her pants to show off her smooth, beautiful legs, the audience erupted in loud cheers of "Kyaaa!"
In response to this coming out, lead actor Takumi Saito said, "I'm a supporter of leg hair," to which Fukasawa replied, "I actually want to grow it too (laughs)! But I'm an idol by profession," revealing that she made the decision with her fans' opinions in mind.
The film is based on the 2023 Korean drama of the same name. It is a mystery about the kind-hearted but clumsy kidnapper Shinjo Masamune, played by Saito, and the amnesiac genius girl Nanase Rin, played by child actor Yuno Nagao, who are on the run while being pursued by unidentified men. Fukasawa plays Yamazaki Tadashi, the legal adviser to Eishin Memorial Hospital, where Rin's father is the director.
