Eleven new stills have been released for the film " Hikuidori wo, Kuu " (directed by Katsuhide Motoki, to be released on October 3rd), starring actor Koshi Mizukami and co-starring Mizuki Yamashita and Ryota Miyadate .
The trailer also features the couple, Kuki Yuji (Mizukami) and Yuriko (Yamashita), who become embroiled in a mysterious phenomenon after receiving a diary from an ancestor who died in war, as well as paranormal expert Hokuto Soichiro (Miyadate), who is investigating the truth. It also features a tense scene in which Yuji and Hokuto glare at each other.
This is a live-action film adaptation of the novel by Hara Hiroshi, which won the grand prize at the 40th Yokomizo Seishi Mystery & Horror Awards (2020). The diary of Kuki Sadaichi, who died in the war, is delivered to the Kuki couple living in Shinshu. On the last page are the mysterious words "Cassowary, Kuitai." Since that day, the once happy couple has been driven into a corner. Misato Morita, Yoshizawa Takeshi, Yudai Toyoda, and Aso Yumi also star in the film.
