NHK's 15-minute program "The Greatest Hits 'Nakayama Miho Special!'" focusing on Nakayama Miho, who passed away on December 6th last year, will be broadcast on NHK General TV from 11:30 pm on June 14th.
"The Greatest Hits" will showcase the best performance footage from music programs broadcast by NHK, such as "Let's Go Young," "Pop Jam," and "MUSIC JAPAN," focusing on Japanese pop music from the Showa, Heisei, and Reiwa eras.
"Nakayama Miho Special!" will feature three songs from Nakayama's performances on NHK's music programs. The first song will be "Namaiki" from "Let's Go Young" in 1985. Nakayama was 15 years old at the time, and this is a rare video of her first appearance on the program.
The second song is "Fashion!!!" from "Young Studio 101" in 1987. We will introduce the performance of "Miporin", who was 17 years old and at the peak of her career as an idol. The third song is "Shiawase ni Naru Tame ni" from "Pop Jam" in 1993.
