A preview screening of the new anime version of the popular manga "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube ", which was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), was held in Tokyo on June 7th, and Ryotaro Okiayu , who plays Meisuke Nueno(Nube ), made an appearance. This is the first time in about 26 years that a new anime version of " Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube" will be produced, since the OVA "Hell Teacher: Jigoku Sensei Nube: The Greatest Battle in History! There has been much buzz about Okiayu, who played the main character Nube in the TV anime, movie anime, and OVA broadcast from 1996 to 1997, continuing to play the role, and Okiayu expressed his thoughts, saying, "This is the first time I've had the opportunity to play the main character in a TV series, and it's a work I'll never forget."
Regarding the new anime, Okiayu said, "I'm happy that times have changed and it has been made into a film of this quality again," and added, "It's amazing! It's got scary and action elements too. I hope you'll look forward to it."
When asked about his feelings about playing Nube in the anime again, he said, "The old series ended, and there were games and the like, but I lived with a faint hope for over 20 years. I had fun acting."
The advance screening featured a surprise appearance by the band "Shintenchi Kaibyaku Shudan-Zigzag," who perform the opening theme "P0WER-Banish Evil Spirits."
