" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobuyuki (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas and arrived at "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In episode 47, the war intensifies and the Pacific War breaks out. Flour is rationed and Asada Bread is forced to close. While Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) is working at a pharmaceutical company in Tokyo, Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) receives a call-up letter, and Takashi sees him off, saying that he will meet him again alive. Meanwhile, Jiro (Mio Imada) returns to Nobu (Ayumu Nakajima), telling her that the voyage has been canceled.
Nobu is surprised but happy. Jiro shows him some photos he took during the voyage and explains why he loves photography.
