It has been revealed that vocal and dance group DA PUMP will be performing the opening theme " Mr. Osomatsu 's Bombache!" for the fourth season of the popular TV anime " Mr. Osomatsu ." The song is a cover of a foreign song with original Japanese lyrics, written by mcA・T, who produced many hit songs when DA PUMP was first formed. Part of the song will be released on June 6th, in honor of the sextuplets who appear in " Mr. Osomatsu."
DA PUMP's ISSA commented, "DA PUMP will be performing the opening theme for the fourth season of the TV anime "Mr. Osomatsu," "Mr. Osomatsu's Bombashee!" Master mcA・T has skillfully written the lyrics of this foreign song in Japanese, and with the participation of the sextuplets, it has become a very lively and fun song! I hope everyone will enjoy our playfulness, visuals, and dance."
"Mr. Osomatsu" is based on Fujio Akatsuka's comedy manga "Osomatsu." It depicts the daily lives of the sextuplets as adults, and its extreme gags have made it popular among female anime fans.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October 2015 to March 2016, the second season from October 2017 to March 2018, and the third season from October 2020 to March 2021. The movie version, "Osomatsu San Movie the Movie," was released in March 2019. The first new anime to commemorate the 6th anniversary, "Mr. Osomatsu-san: The Hippipo Tribe and the Shining Fruit," was released in theaters from July 2022, and the second, "Mr. Osomatsu: The Soulful Takoyaki Party and the Legendary Sleepover," was released in theaters from July 2023.
The fourth season of the TV anime will begin airing on TV Tokyo and other channels from July.
