It has been announced that all episodes of the popular manga "Golgo 13" by the late Takao Saito will be made available for free on Shogakukan's web service "Bikcomi" from May 30th. This is the first time that all episodes of the manga will be made available for free in about 57 years since its serialization began in 1968. As part of a campaign to commemorate the second anniversary of "Bikcomi", the manga will be made available for free from May 30th to June 12th.
As part of the Bikcomi 2nd anniversary campaign, all episodes of Golgo 13 will be released for free as the first step, followed by volumes 1-88 of The Mole Song from June 13th to 26th, 75 volumes of the Aji Ichimonme series from June 27th to July 10th, and 60 volumes of the Afro Tanaka series from July 11th to 20th.
"Golgo 13" began serialization in "Big Comic" (Shogakukan) in 1968. The story is about a genius sniper who coldly carries out missions given to him by his clients. This popular work has also been made into a live-action film and a TV anime. The total number of copies of the comic series published is over 300 million.
