It has been announced that a bookstore fair called the "Ichi the Witch" Collaboration Fair will be held to commemorate the release of the latest 3rd volume of the manga "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun," also by Nishi. Nishi is currently serializing "Ichi the Witch" in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha) and "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Shoten), and the fair will be held in response to the release of the latest volumes of these two works in early June.
The latest 3rd volume of "Ichi the Witch" will be released on June 4th, and the latest 43rd volume of "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun-kun" will be released on June 6th. At the bookstore fair, collaboration papers will be distributed, featuring original illustrations by Usazaki of Ichi, the protagonist of "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun." There are two designs of the collaboration papers, with version A being distributed on June 4th and version B being distributed on June 6th.
There will also be a giveaway campaign for a double acrylic keychain (2 types in total) featuring illustrations from the collaboration paper. Those who collect two entry tickets (one each from the obi of the latest volume 3 of "Ichi the Witch" and the latest volume 43 of "Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun! Iruma-kun") will be entered into a lottery to win the prize, which will be given to 200 people in total.
"Ichi the Witch" began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Jump" in September 2024. Set in a world where there are hunters called "witches" who hunt living creatures and learn their magic, the story is about a hunter who lives in the mountains and has no connection to witches or magic, who overturns the common sense of the world.
"Welcome to Demon School! Iruma-kun" began serialization in March 2017 in "Weekly Shonen Champion." It is a school comedy about a boy named Suzuki Iruma who was sold to a demon by his parents for their own selfish reasons, enrolled in a school in the demon world, and lives his school life while hiding the fact that he is human. The TV anime is also gaining popularity, and it has been announced that a fourth series will be produced.
