It has been revealed that Soma Saito will be appearing as Koguro (a young man) in the TV anime " Kowloon Generic Romance ," which is based on the manga by Mayuzuki Jun that is currently being serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" (Shueisha).
Oguro (the young man) is a mysterious being who appears as "another Oguro," and Saito said, "As a reader, I am truly happy to have the opportunity to be involved in a work that I love. A new PV that looks back on the first half of the story has also been released on YouTube. It depicts Reiko being at the mercy of "her own lack of memories of the past," "the existence of Kujirai B who has the same face as her," and the huge secret hidden in Kowloon.
" Kowloon Generic Romance" is a manga by Mayuzuki, who is also known for "Love is Like After the Rain," which was adapted into a TV anime and a live-action movie, and has been serialized in "Weekly Young Jump" since November 2019. Reiko Kujirai, who works at a real estate agency in the nostalgic city of Kowloon Walled City, has a slight crush on her senior at work, Kudo Hajime, and when she finds a photo, she learns that Kudo had a fiance who looked just like her in the past. As memories that can't be found, the true identity of her other self, and a huge secret hidden in the city of Kowloon intertwine, past, present, and future, love will unravel the secrets.
The anime is being broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks, with Shiraishi Haruka playing Kujirai Reiko and Tomokazu Sugita playing Kudo Hatsu, and a live-action film starring Riho Yoshioka and Koshi Mizukami in the lead roles, set to be released this summer.
