The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 a.m. and others), starring Mio Imada, will enter its ninth week, "Next to Despair is Hope," on May 26th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the ninth week, the Asada household is discussing Nobu's (Imada) wedding, leaving Kamaji (Kotaro Yoshida) and the others excited.
At the same time, Taka (Takumi Kitamura) was immersed in his graduation project, hoping to tell Nobu how he felt after finishing it. He stayed up all night drawing a picture and returned to Gomenyo-cho, but he ended up returning to Tokyo without being able to confess his feelings to Nobu.
