The synopsis and stills from the 6th episode of the drama series " A Calm Sea and Beautiful Days with You " (Fuji TV, Thursdays at 10pm) starring Kyoko Yoshine, which will air on May 29th, have been released.
Natsumi Ebata (Yoshine) is worried about Fumiko Yoshimori (Maika Yamamoto) and Ryunosuke Fukami (Yuta Koseki) who are supposed to meet at a coffee shop, so she disguises herself and watches over them with Takita Ebata (Kyouya Honda). Takita is not very enthusiastic, but he goes along with her because he wants Natsumi to be happy.
Fukami suddenly confesses to Fumiko, "I consider you to be the ideal marriage partner." Although she understands Fukami's words that romantic love is not necessary in marriage and that as long as both parties fulfill their obligations, they should be free to do what they want, she refuses.
Meanwhile, Natsumi and Takitaka, who were supposed to be scouting, end up feeling like they're on a date. They order shortcake and sandwiches and have a great time.
Having failed in his reconnaissance, Takitakazu is getting changed, feeling dejected that he couldn't please Natsumi. Then, Natsumi comes in with a letter in her hand. Seeing Takitakazu's bare upper body, Natsumi blushes and turns away.
The letter was from Natsumi's mother, Satsuki Sekiya (Mahiru Konno). The letter asked when she would be coming to the Sekiya house, and Takitaka, wanting to make Natsumi happy this time, suggested that they go to her parents' house right away. And Takitaka meets Natsumi's family for the first time. Natsumi's sisters are curious about Takitaka...
The story is based on the manga of the same name by Nishika Hachi, which is currently being serialized on Kodansha's manga app Comic Days. It depicts the love story that begins in 1936, when Natsumi, who was proposed to and married on "zero days of dating," and Imperial Navy lieutenant Takitaka Ebata begin their married life together.
