The key visual for the second chapter of the movie "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club Final Chapter," based on the popular anime series "Love Live! ! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club," has been released. The second chapter will be set in Kyoto, Osaka, and Hyogo.
"Nijigasaki High School Idol Club" began activities in 2017, following "μ's (Muse)" from "Love Live!" and "Aqours (Aqua)" from "Love Live! Sunshine!!". The story depicts the members of the School Idol Club at Nijigasaki High School, a private high school in Odaiba, Tokyo, as they aim to become the number one school idol, sometimes as rivals and sometimes as friends, as they go about their daily activities.
The first season of the TV anime aired from October to December 2020, and the second season from April to June 2022. A new episode, the original video animation (OVA), "Love Live! Nijigasaki High School Idol Club NEXT SKY," was released in theaters in June 2023. The first chapter of the "final chapter" will be released on September 6, 2024, and the second chapter on November 7.
