On the 12th, a new project for the popular anime series "Love Live!", "Ikizu Live! LOVELIVE! BLUEBIRD", was launched. On the 13th, it was announced that "Awashima Hyakkei," a manga by Takako Shimura, also known for "Aoi Hana" and "Hōrō Musuko," will be adapted into a TV anime and broadcast in 2026. It will be directed by Morio Asaka and produced by Madhouse.
On the 14th, the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show (organized by the Shizuoka Model Teaching Materials Cooperative Association) opened at Twin Messe Shizuoka (Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City). At the Bandai Spirits booth, new Gundam models from the popular anime series Gundam, including the PG UNLEASHED 1/60 Nu Gundam, were announced one after another. The show will run until the 18th.
On the 14th, an experimental video called "BLUE GALE XABUNGLE SIDE L" based on the robot anime "Combat Mecha Xabungle" that aired from 1982 to 1983 was released on the Sunrise YouTube channel. Kamikaze Douga and Bandai Namco Filmworks teamed up to look back on the story using footage from that time, while creating new footage using current technology. The masterpiece has been revived in the Reiwa era.
On the 15th, it was revealed that a sequel to the TV anime "Ace of Diamond Ace of Diamond of Diamond," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo and other networks in 2026 as "Ace of Diamond actII Second Season." This will be the first sequel in about six years to the TV anime "Ace of Diamond actII," which aired from April 2019 to March 2020.
On the 15th, it was announced that the Japanese dubbed version of the popular anime "The Reincarnated Sect Leader's Path of Domination: Crawling Up with the Everything-Swallowing Fish", which has been distributed since May on China's largest video site "bilibili", will be broadcast on Fuji TV's late-night anime slot "B8station" at 1:15 a.m. every Wednesday starting in July.
On the 16th, it was announced that the music video for "ETERNAL WIND ~Hohoemi wa Hikaru Kaze no Naka~," a song included in singer Hiroko Moriguchi's album "GUNDAM SONG COVERS -ORCHESTRA-," which covers songs from the popular anime series "Gundam," will premiere on YouTube at 9pm on the 20th. The song was released by Moriguchi in 1991 as the theme song for the animated film "Mobile Suit Gundam F91," but no music video was made at the time, and so after about 34 years, the first official music video will be released.
On the 17th, it was announced that the TV anime "The Kizetsu Yusha to Ansatsu Hime," based on the manga currently being serialized in "Weekly Shonen Champion" (Akita Publishing), will begin airing in July.
