"This Week's New Releases" provides information on new comics. Approximately 320 major comics will be released from May 19th to 24th. The popular light novel "The Apothecary Diaries " is currently being adapted into a comic book, and the second season of the TV anime is currently being broadcast. The regular version and special edition with "All Character Playing Cards" of the 20th volume of "The Apothecary At a Confessional : Maomao 'The Apothecary Diaries Harem Mystery Notebook" currently being serialized in "Sunday GX" (Shogakukan) will be released. The third volume of " Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe" will be released on May 23rd. The ninth volume of "The Darwin Incident" will be broadcast as a TV anime starting in January 2026.
On May 19th, the following items will be released: volume 20 of "The Apothecary Diaries : Maomao's Harem Mystery Notebook" and volume 3 of "Thus Spoke Rohan Kishibe," as well as volume 15 of "Asuka's Sailor Suit," which has been adapted into a TV anime, volume 17 of "Snack Buse," volume 18 of "Radiation House," which has been adapted into a TV drama, volume 6 of "COSMOS" by Tamura Ryuhei, known for "Beelzebub" and other works, and volume 34 of the fighting manga "TOUGH: The Man Who Inherits the Dragon."
On May 20th, the 8th volume of "10DANCE," which is being made into a live-action film starring actors Ryoma Takeuchi and Keita Machida, will be released.
On May 22nd, in addition to volume 9 of "The Darwin Incident," other titles on sale include volume 17 of "Blue Period," which has been adapted into an anime and a live-action film; volume 9 of "To Shimazaki, a Land of Peace," which was nominated for the 2024 Manga Award; volume 8 of "Twisted Sisters" by Yamashita Kazumi, who is known for "The Life of Genius Professor Yanagisawa;" volume 20 of "Liaison: Children's Mental Clinic," which has been adapted into a TV drama; and volume 173 of the long-running "Cooking Papa."
On May 23rd, the 21st volume of the manga "Mobile Suit Zeta Gundam Define Char Aznable Gryps War," based on the popular anime "Gundam" series, will be available in stores.
