It has been announced that the Gunpla (plastic model) "HG 1/144 Destiny Gundam Spec II [Final Battle Image Color]" (Bandai Spirits) from the anime "Mobile Suit Gundam SEED Freedom" will be released. Some of the molding colors of the Destiny Gundam Spec II Gunpla will be changed to thoroughly recreate the appearance in the show.
The announcement was made at the 63rd Shizuoka Hobby Show (sponsored by the Shizuoka Model Teaching Materials Cooperative), a model exhibition currently being held at Twin Messe Shizuoka (Suruga Ward, Shizuoka City).
The Shizuoka Hobby Show is an exhibition that has been held since 1959 in Shizuoka City, where many model makers' factories are located. This year's show will be held from May 14th to 18th, with the 17th and 18th being open to the public. Advance registration is required for admission.
