It has been revealed that the second season of the TV anime " Shoshimin Series, " based on the novel by Honobu Yonezawa , known for " Hyouka " and other works, will begin the "Winter Limited Bonbon Chocolat Incident" from next week's broadcast on May 24th. After the "Autumn Limited Chestnut Kinton Incident," Jogoro Kobato and Yuki Osanai meet again. The visuals and latest PV for "Winter Limited Bonbon Chocolat Incident" have also been released.
It was also announced that an event will be held on June 8th at Gifushin Forum (Gifu Civic Hall) in Gifu, where the anime is set. Shuichiro Umeda , who plays Jogoro Kobato , Yuki Osanai , and TV Asahi producer Kazuki Endo will be in attendance.
The "Shoshimin Series" is a popular mystery novel series that has sold over 1.1 million copies in total. After a bitter experience with a detective activity called "wisdom work,"Jogoro Kobato secretly forms a mutually beneficial relationship with his classmate Yuki Osanai, who shares the same aspirations, and intends to live a peaceful life as a little man, but for some reason, mysterious incidents and disasters come one after another... This is the story.
The first season, an anime adaptation of the series' "Shunki Gentei Ichigo Tart Jiken" and "Kaki Gentei Tropical Parfait Jiken" (Sougen Mystery Bunko), aired from July to September 2024. The second season is currently airing on TV Asahi's late-night anime slot "NUMAnimation."
