The NHK Asadora drama series "Anpan " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 am and others), starring Mio Imada , will enter its eighth week, "Encounter and Parting," on May 19th.
" Anpan" is based on the married couple Takashi Yanase(1919-2013) and Nobu (1918-1993), the manga artist and picture book writer who created "Anpanman." It is a "story of love and courage" that will make you feel the joy of living, depicting how these two, who were once nobody, overcame all sorts of rough seas to become "Anpanman," the embodiment of "unreversible justice."
In the eighth week, Nobu (Imada) has been a teacher at his alma mater, Gomenyo Elementary School, for a year and a half. He has been instilling patriotism in his students.
Nobu, who will soon be twenty years old, has been approached with many marriage proposals, but she has no interest in them. However, an elegant woman (Ryo Kase), who was friends with Yutaro (Ryo Misuzu Kanno), appears... Meanwhile, Takashi (Takumi Kitamura) was supposed to be working hard on his art in preparation for graduation, but instead he spends his days sighing.
Kentaro (Fumiya Takahashi) points out that Nobu is the cause of the problem and gives him some harsh words, telling him to forget about it as soon as possible.
