On May 14th, TV talent Chinatsu Wakatsuki appeared at the "50th Anniversary New Image Character Appointment Announcement" for Wacoal's innerwear brand "Wing" held in Tokyo. It was announced that model SHIHO would be the brand's image character for the first time in about 20 years, and Wakatsuki, who has been watching SHIHO's work since her debut, appeared as a guest. When asked about the changes that had occurred in the past 20 years, Wakatsuki said, "What has changed is that I'm no longer a gal. I've grown up, a little."
This was the first time Wakatsuki and SHIHO met, and Wakatsuki expressed her joy by saying, "I've seen the commercial (that SHIHO was in), so I'm really happy. It's like a dream, it shows how people can change so much."
When SHIHO spoke about the secret to her beauty, saying, "I update my efforts to match the changes in my age," Wakatsuki replied firmly, "I haven't done anything." She continued, "I used to be a real gal. I even stopped going to tanning salons." When SHIHO praised her, saying, "You've updated yourself so beautifully. You're still as cheerful," Wakatsuki blushed and laughed.
A new visual featuring SHIHO and a commercial in which she wears the brand's "Match Me Bra" have been released on YouTube. A commercial for the "Synchro Bra Top," a "bra top made by an underwear manufacturer with care," will also be aired from June 5th.
