It has been revealed that " Ryosangata Riko : The Blue Counterattack of the Plastic Model Club Members," a new "mass-produced world" adaptation of the popular TV series "Mass-Produced Riko," in which Yuki Yoda , who graduated from the idol group "Nogizaka46" in February, plays a "plastic model girl," will be broadcast on TV Tokyo from July 3rd. Set in a plastic model club on the verge of being disbanded, the story depicts the final years of high school youth, and will be co-starred by Nogizaka46 4th generation members Haruka Kaki and Tsutsui Ayame, who are Yoda's juniors.
"Ryosangata Riko" is a human drama in which Yoda plays an ordinary girl, a "mass-produced girl," who grows modestly through plastic models. The series is also characterized by the fact that Yoda and other cast members appear in completely different roles with the same name in each series, and the third and final series was broadcast last year.
The new series "Mass-Produced Luca" is set in a high school plastic model club and is a hobby human drama depicting the final youthful years of high school life of two Lucas: Takamine Ruka (aka Takaruka, Kaki), who is lazy, easy-going, and carefree, and Seto Ruka (aka Setoruka, Tsutsui), Takaruka's childhood friend who is polite, kind, and serious. Following "Ryosangata Riko", various real plastic models will appear in each episode with the production cooperation of "BANDAI SPIRITS", known for Gunpla, etc. The first episode will feature "Mass-Produced Zaku II".
◇Story
Takamine Ruka (aka Takaruka) and Seto Ruka (aka Setoruka) are ordinary high school girls who attend the local Nozomigaoka High School. The two childhood friends have always been together since childhood, so they are called "Rukaruka" by those around them. One day, in their third year of high school, Takaruka was troubled by the words of a friend who said to her, "It's the same thing if you just come to school and go home every day."
At that time, they come across a classroom decorated with sweets in the back of the school building, and are invited inside... It turns out to be the Plastic Model Club, which was on the verge of being disbanded. Encouraged by their advisor, Mr. Yomota, nicknamed "Yomo-san," the two decide to make plastic models, and are drawn to their mysterious charm, gradually drawing other students and the school into their pursuit...
