On April 25th, actress Kasumi Arimura appeared on stage in a pale green dress at the opening day stage greeting for the movie "Hana Manma" (directed by Maeda Tetsu) held in Tokyo.
The outfit had floral illustrations on the feet, giving it a spring feel. The sleeveless top made her beautiful skin shine, and her hands were beautifully adorned with brown nails.
Ryohei Suzuki, Ouji Suzuka, First Summer Uika, and director Tetsu Maeda also appeared on stage to greet the audience.
The film is based on the short story collection of the same name (Bunshun Bunko) by Akegawa Minato, which won the 133rd Naoki Prize (2005). Set in the downtown area of Osaka, the story revolves around the passionate brother Kato Toshiki (Suzuki) and his sister Fumiko (Arimura), who lost their parents at an early age and live as a parent figure for his sister. When the sister decides to get married, the brother should finally be able to take a load off his shoulders, but a "secret" about Fumiko that the two of them sealed away a long time ago is suddenly resurrected... This is the story.
