It has been announced that a new series of the music variety show "Hinatazaka Music Parade" (Nippon Television), a program solely featuring the 4th generation members of the idol group "Hinatazaka46", will start on May 8th.
The theme of the new series is the fusion of song and comedy. The show will be called "New Hinatazaka Music Parade," and the 4th generation members will try their hand at comedy for the first time. The MC will continue to be the comedy trio "3ji no Heroine."
Member Fujishima Kaho commented, "Until now, I think I would have felt uncomfortable doing comedy sketches, but all of the 4th generation members tried their hand at performing on stage in March of this year, and I realized that if I approach it with the mindset of performing, I can also perform comedy sketches. Watching the other members' comedy sketches reminded me of us rehearsing for a stage play (laughs). I feel that we are able to make use of the experiences we have had in various jobs in the future."
Hirao Honoka said, "The 4th generation members live their daily lives as if they are doing a comedy skit, so I thought to myself that 'the 4th generation members should do comedy skits' (laughs)." She continued, "This time, it was a lot of fun to be given the roles and scripts for the skits and act them out, and everyone was full of energy. I think it would be great if each of them could find a character that suited them and have the fans love them. I would like the fans to tell us about their favorite characters and what they liked about them, and I hope they will spread the word about the show and spread the appeal of the show! I want many people to watch 'Hina Parade' so that it becomes a show that is loved for many years to come."
The program will be broadcast every Thursday at 12:59 a.m. starting from May 8th.
