Motohashi, played by Michieda, is in his second year at JBN and is the assistant director of the news program "Newsgate."
"By the way, why did Hana (Nagano Mei Nagano) come to the news industry? You had even won the Chairman's Award in variety shows, so why didn't you continue?" Motohashi asked Sakikubo. Recalling the time when she was approached about being the general director of "Newsgate," Sakikubo said, "I can't go against an order to transfer, I'm an office worker."
After hearing Sakikubo's story, Motohashi said, "Well, I'm happy to be working with Hana-san." In response to Sakikubo's "Hmm," Motohashi retorted, "What's with that reaction?" As Sakikubo replied, "No, nothing," Motohashi smiled...
