It has been revealed that a new project has been launched for the anime series "Date A Live," which is based on the popular light novel by Fujimi Fantasia Bunko (KADOKAWA). Details will be announced in the future. A newly drawn summer dress visual commemorating the 12th anniversary of the series has also been released.
Original author Tachibana Koushi commented, "Congratulations on the announcement of the new Date A Live project! Thank you! So it's a new project. Five TV series, a movie, and even a side story have been made into an anime, but it seems like there's something else going on. Whoosh. It's so exciting. What on earth is going to happen? Let's take a look at the meaningful ultra teaser visual. Is this... a spirit crystal (Sefira)...? It seems like there's something vaguely in the background...? More details will be announced at a later date, so please look forward to it! It's been 12 years since the first anime season, and a whopping 14 years since the start of the original work. It has become quite a long-running series for a light novel. Thank you very much for accompanying us for such a long time. Thanks to you, it seems like we'll be able to see something new again. I hope you'll continue to follow the story of Shido, Tohka and the others for a little while longer."
