A special visual for the special event " My Hero Academia HERO×VILLAIN FES. <Hero x Enemy <Villain> Fest>" for the anime "My Hero Academia ", based on the manga by Kohei Horikoshi serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" (Shueisha), has been released. It features eight characters, including Izuku Midoriya(Deku) and Tomura Shigaraki, dressed up in red.
Original goods for the event using the visuals were also released. The lineup includes can badges, acrylic stands, festival T-shirts, muffler towels, and fans. The original goods will be available for pre-sale on the shopping site "TOHO animation STORE" from 6:00 PM on April 18th to May 18th.
The event will be held at Pia Arena MM (Nishi-ku, Yokohama) on August 17th. " My Hero Academia" is a manga that was serialized in "Weekly Shonen Jump" from July 2014 to August 2024. Set in a world where about 80% of the population has supernatural powers and quirks, the story follows Izuku Midoriya, also known as Deku, as he strives to become the greatest hero. The comics have sold over 100 million copies worldwide.
The first season of the TV anime aired from April to June 2016, the second from March to September 2017, the third from April to September 2018, the fourth from October 2019 to April 2020, the fifth from March to September 2021, the sixth from October 2022 to March 2023, and the seventh from May to October 2024. The eighth and final season, "FINAL SEASON," will be broadcast on 29 stations nationwide, including Yomiuri TV and Nippon TV, every Saturday at 5:30 pm from October.
