The new episode, episode 12, "Taller Magic", has been released on YouTube.
"●●'s Magic" is a mini-anime with an original scenario, depicting the official deformed characters Frieren and friends, designed by illustrator Mebachi, trying out various magic spells during their journey. All 11 videos distributed during the first season have been viewed an average of about 1.7 million times on YouTube, making them very popular.
"Frieren: Beyond Journey's End" is a manga written by Kanehito Yamada and illustrated by Tsukasa Abe Abe, which began serialization in "Weekly Shonen Sunday" in April 2020. Frieren is a magician in the hero's party who defeated the Demon King. She is an elf and has a long lifespan, but after experiencing the death of a companion, she sets out on a journey to "get to know people". It was selected for the Manga Taisho 2021, the 25th Osamu Tezuka Cultural Prize Newcomer Award, the 69th (2023) Shogakukan Manga Award, and the 48th Kodansha Manga Award in the boys' category. The comic has sold over 24 million copies in total.
The anime is directed by Keiichiro Saito , known for " Bocchi the Rock! ", and produced by Madhouse. The first season of the TV anime aired on Nippon Television's anime slot "FRIDAY ANIME NIGHT (Fura-ani)" from September 2023 to March 2024. The second season will air on Nippon Television from January 2026.
