A new visual for "My Shosetsuka ni Naro 'The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten," which is based on a popular light novel from the novel posting site "Let's Become a Novelist." The visual follows a project carried out on April Fool's Day, April 1, 2022, and features a reversed design of the heroine from the teaser visual for the second season, "the most beautiful girl in school," Shiina Mahiru. A video featuring the voice of "Little Devil Mahiru" for the first time has also been released on YouTube.
"The Angel Next Door Spoils Me Rotten" is a light novel written by Saeki and illustrated by Hanekoto. It tells the love story of Fujimiya Shu, a high school freshman who has just started living alone, and Shiina Mahiru, the most beautiful girl in school who lives in the apartment next door.
The first season of the TV anime aired from January to March 2023. Taito Ban played Shu Fujimiya and Manaka Iwami played Mayu Shiina, with Taku Yashiro and Haruka Shiraishi also appearing. It was produced by Project No.9, which also produced "Bottom-tier Character Tomozaki". It has also been announced that a second season of the TV anime will be produced.
