The ninth episode of the Monday 9pm drama " 119 Emergency Call " (Fuji TV, Monday 9pm) starring actress Nana Seino was broadcast on March 17th. Viewers commented that the command and control officer Kaneshita, played by Koji Seto, was "cool" and "it made my heart warm".

In episode 9, while his wife Shiori (Takada Riho) and son are visiting their hometown, a landslide occurs near Shiori's family home. Kaneshita is relieved to be able to contact Shiori and reports to Takachiho (Nakamura Yuri), section chief of the Command Section 3, that his wife's family home is safe. Takachiho tells him, "It's safe here, so please go and pick her up," but Kaneshita replies, "No, I have other reports to report, so I'll go back to the platform," and returns to work.
Meanwhile, another landslide occurs, and Kaneshita loses contact with Shiori. Takachiho urges them to head to the scene again, saying, "We'll do it ourselves," but Kaneshita firmly replies, "SR (Special Advanced Rescue Team) forces have already been reinforced. Even if I go, I'll just be a hindrance. All I can do now is interview as many callers as possible and gather information on those in need of rescue until the rescue team arrives."
Later, a call was made to the command center, revealing that Shiori's family home had been hit by a landslide. Even in such a situation, Kaneshita was shown working hard to respond to the call.
