The final episode (episode 19) of the popular detective drama "Aibou Season 23" (TV Asahi, Wednesday 9pm) was broadcast on March 12th, and the average viewership rating (according to Video Research, Kanto region, same below) was 10.8% for households and 6.3% for individuals.
"Aibou" is a detective drama that began in 2000, in which Ukyo Sugishita (Yutaka Mizutani), a member of the Metropolitan Police Department's "Special Mission Unit," solves a number of difficult cases with his partner, using his genius mind to solve them. This is the 10th season for the pairing of Ukyo and Kameyama Kaoru (Yasufumi Terawaki).
Episode 19 will be broadcast as the "Final Episode Special: 'Monster and Holy Sword - The Final Battle' Part 2."
The bodies of young people are found one after another, and it turns out that they are all the perpetrators of the serial robberies that Ukyo and Kaoru have been pursuing. A man named Kihara Kenji (Hirayama Yusuke) emerges as the mastermind. Meanwhile, a man who has been unnaturally approaching Ukyo, Urakami Rika (Maikuma Katsuya), also makes a move... and so the story unfolds.
