The eighth episode of the drama series "The Hot Spot" (NTV, Sunday 10:30 pm), starring actor Ichikawa Mikako, was broadcast on March 2nd. In the episode, Sakura Ando, who starred in the drama series "Brush Up Life" (NTV), which was broadcast in January 2023 and written by the same Bakarhythm as this one, appeared as Sakura Ando's mother in the flashbacks of "alien" Takahashi (Kadota Akihiro). The episode attracted a lot of attention on social media, with comments such as "super hot" and "brush up life!"

In episode 8, Murakami (Kohinata Fumiyo), a long-term guest who tells Kiyomi (Fumiyo Kohinata) about a future she does not know, turns out to be a man from 50 years in the future. Kiyomi learns about the future of the hotel, which no one knows yet, and shares the secret with Hatchi (Suzuki Anne) and Minapu (Hiraiwa Kami). She worries about the "alien" Takahashi (Kadota Akihiro), saying, "Isn't Takahashi the one who will be most affected if the hotel disappears?"
If Takahashi can no longer bathe in the hotel's hot springs, his immune system will weaken. Worried, Kiyomi and her friends decide to talk with Takahashi at a coffee shop... and so the story unfolds.
In the story, there is a scene where Takahashi reveals memories of his family to Kiyomi and others. When he was a child and was bullied by older students, Takahashi unconsciously used his powers to blow them away, and Takahashi's mother Hiroko (Ando) was called to the school. After that, Takahashi and Hiroko returned home together, and his father Kyosuke (Nomaguchi Toru) revealed to him that Kyosuke was an alien, and that Takahashi himself, who is descended from his father, is half alien.
On social media, when Ando, who starred in "Brush Up Life," appeared as Takahashi's mother, there was a flood of excited comments. Comments like "Sakura Ando here!", "The mother was in Brush Up Life!", "The mother is really in Brush Up Life!", "Sakura Ando is shaking here", "Sakura Ando is too hot lol", "The mother is a time reaper", and "As always, the casting is great, with Sakura Ando as the mother" were among the comments.
