The eighth episode of the TV drama series " Zaibatsu Fukushu " (TV Tokyo, Mondays at 11:06 p.m.), starring actors Keisuke Watanabe and Miori Takimoto , was broadcast on February 24th. Towards the end of the episode, the truth behind the death of Yukiya's (Watanabe) mother Saori (Murakawa Eri) was revealed, causing a stir on social media.

Following the sudden death of Seiichiro (Watanabe Ikkei), Masayuki (Takeda Kohei) became the new chairman and Erika (Takimoto) became the vice chairman.
Meanwhile, Yukiya receives an envelope from an unknown sender. Inside is Seiichiro's death certificate. Yukiya becomes suspicious and investigates, finding several suspicious points about Seiichiro's death. So, at night, Yukiya breaks into the Ise family home and finds a suspicious bottle in Seiichiro's room. Yukiya leaves the room and is seen by Erika, but Erika says nothing and doesn't tell Masayuki about Yukiya.
Later, Yukiya is visited by the housekeeper Fuyu (Sanae Miyata) who gives him a letter that Seiichiro had written before his death. The letter tells the truth about the fire that killed Saori. Masayuki had seen Saori being hugged from behind by Seiichiro at the factory. So Masayuki, disappointed in Seiichiro, set fire to the factory and drove Saori to her death.
When Yukiya found out that his mother's death was the result of a fire started by Masayuki, he crouched down and screamed, "Aaaaaah!" He then expressed his anger, saying, "I don't care what happens. I will ruin Ise Masayuki. I will never forgive you!"
When the truth behind Saori's death was revealed, social media was flooded with comments of horror, such as "What? You're kidding me?", "Masayuki is such a villain", "I can't believe it... it was a shock", "He was the worst person", "It's too terrible", "The events are so fast-paced I can't keep up with my emotions..." and so on.
