On January 31, WOWOW announced that it has begun selling a "Final Tournament Pass" for the 2024-25 season of the UEFA Champions League (CL) and UEFA Europa League (EL), which it is exclusively broadcasting live, which allows viewers to watch all final tournament matches as well as notable matches throughout the season.
This season, with the new format, the long league phase has come to an end, with the top eight teams having advanced straight to the round of 16. A playoff will be held in February between the teams ranked 9th to 24th to decide the remaining eight spots.
Expectations are also high for the performance of Japanese players such as Endo Wataru (Liverpool), Minamino Takumi (Monaco), Ueda Ayase (Feyenoord), Tomiyasu Takehiro (Arsenal), and Kubo Takefusa (Real Sociedad).
The final tournament pass costs 7,480 yen. The sales period is from January 31st to February 28th. It can be viewed until June 30th. The main viewable contents are as follows.
