A promotional video for the second half of the third season of the TV anime "Re:Zero(Re:ZERO)", based on the light novel from MF Bunko J (KADOKAWA), "Counterattack Arc", was released on YouTube on January 22nd. The promotional video, which includes footage that has never been seen before, depicts the battle between the Archbishops of Sin and Subaru Natsuki. A preview of the first episode of "Counterattack Arc", episode 59, "City of Chaos", was also released.
The third season is composed of the "Attack Arc" (8 episodes in total) and the "Counterattack Arc" (8 episodes in total), with the "Attack Arc" airing from October to November 2024. The "Counterattack Arc" will begin airing on February 5th.
"Re:Zero" is based on a light novel written by Tappei Nagatsuki Nagatsuki and illustrated by Shinichiro Otsuka. The story is about a high school student, Subaru, who is summoned to another world and gains the ability to rewind time when he dies. The first season of the TV anime aired from April to September 2016, the first half of the second season from July to September 2020, and the second half from January to March 2021.
