The cover image for the March issue (on sale January 23rd) of Shueisha's fashion magazine "SPUR" was released on January 21st, revealing that newcomer Michikyu Ren (16) will be on the cover. Michikyu will be making her modeling debut in the issue, and commented on her Instagram story, "My name is written as 'ren' in Japanese. My mother wanted to give me a name related to flowers."
On the 16th, the editorial department announced that "a 16-year-old supernova model who will be making her modeling debut with this issue" would grace the cover of the special edition. "Despite being dressed in casual summer clothes and geta, she captivated the staff with her eye-catching, strong presence."
Michiyasu commented, "I am very happy to be on the cover with my favorite photo. The prince-like color of the lace was particularly beautiful. When we think of models, we imagine them adorning covers and billboards in the city, but I will work hard to become a model with a unique style."
