It has been revealed that the third part of the popular manga "The Fable" by Minami Katsuhisa, "The Fable The third secret", will begin serialization in the 16th issue of the manga magazine "Young Magazine" (Kodansha), which will be released on March 17. This will be the first time the series has been revived in about 1 year and 8 months since the conclusion of the second part in July 2023.
It was announced in the eighth issue of the magazine, which went on sale on January 20. In the third part, the story takes place about two years after the battle with the formidable enemy Loomer ends and Azami and Yukari leave Taihei City, and Akira's "secret" will be revealed.
"The Fable" began serialization in the magazine in November 2014. The story is about a genius assassin known as "The Fable," who is feared in the underworld as a genius assassin, who is given the order from his boss to "take a year off from being an assassin and live a normal life as an ordinary person in Osaka," and so begins to live a normal life under the false name of Sato Akira.
The first part was serialized from November 2014 to November 2019, and the second part from July 2021 to July 2023. It was adapted into a live-action movie starring Okada Junichi, and a TV anime series aired from April to September 2024. The anime also attracted attention for being directed by Takahashi Ryosuke, who has worked on such works as "Armored Trooper Votoms" and "Fang of the Sun Dougram."
To commemorate the decision to serialize the third part, the magazine's website, Young Magazine Web, will be running a free distribution campaign from January 20th to 26th.
