"Shinjuku Anime Song Scope" is a website where anime buyer Higuchi Sho from Tower Records Shinjuku, known for its extensive selection of anime songs, reports on best-selling anime songs and the voices of the sales floor. The number one song at the store from January 5th to 12th was the mini album "Action!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!" by VOLTACTION, a music unit from the VTuber project "Nijisanji."

"VOLTACTION" is a unit consisting of VTubers Fuuraku Souto, Watarai Hibari, Shikinagi Akira, and Seraph Dazzle Garden, all of whom are members of "Nijisanji." "Action!!!!!!!!!!!!" is their first mini-album. The songs are themed around "Action," which means "start," "departure," "challenge," and "dance." Coming in second is "Strawberry Prince Forever," the first best album by the entertainment unit "Strawberry Prince," which is active mainly on video distribution sites such as YouTube. The songs included on the album were decided by fan vote, and it is a luxurious 4-disc set that includes over 80 popular songs from their debut song "Strawberry Prince Forever" to their latest songs.
"Twinkle Days," the ending theme for the TV anime "Will He Become the Strongest Alchemist?" sung by the voice actors Harmoe, a unit consisting of voice actors Iwata Hiyori and Koizumi Moeka, came in at No. 4, while music creator Mafumafu's new album, Sekaiiro Universe, came in at No. 6.
In 7th place was "Smile Promise/Superstar!!" by "Liella!", which is an insert song from episodes 10 and 11 of the third season of the TV anime "Love Live! Superstar!!". In 8th place was "THE IDOLM@STER MILLION MOVEMENT OF STARDOM ROAD 06 Sky Survive", the 6th release in the CD series "MOVEMENT OF STARDOM ROAD" from the popular game "THE IDOLM@STER Million Live! Theater Days (Mirishita)". In 9th place was "Bad Kids All Bet", the 12th single by "RAISE A SUILEN", a girl band that appears in the popular anime and game "BanG Dream!".

Higuchi Sho is a buyer in charge of anime at Tower Records Shinjuku store, 7th floor (Japanese music/sales promotion). He was transferred from the Machida store in 2014. He got into anime because of 1990s works such as "Neon Genesis Evangelion", "BLUE SEED", and "VS Knight Ramune & 40 Flame", and among anime songs, he loves character songs, especially songs related to idol anime. His favorite anthem is "Up! 10sion Pleeeeeeeeease!" from "The Idolmaster Million Live!". His favorite anime and games include "Pretty Rhythm", "The Idolmaster", "Photo Kano", and "Sakura Wars".
