Actor Nana Seino made a surprise appearance at a press conference for Fuji TV's "Monday 9" drama "119 Emergency Call. In reference to the work, when the lead actress Kiyohara and other cast members appeared on a fire engine, the audience erupted in cheers.
The drama is set in the fire department's communications command center and tells an original story that depicts the "real life" of dispatchers. In order to pursue realism, with the full cooperation of the Yokohama City Fire Department, a state-of-the-art fire command center equipped with a large multi-display, system monitoring and control device, and live video communication system has been perfectly recreated on set.
Kiyono said with a smile, "We are filming with the full cooperation of the Yokohama City Fire Department, and I'm wearing the uniform again today. I'm honored." When asked about his goal for the new year, he replied, "I want as many people as possible to watch ' 119 Emergency Call.'"
Regarding the drama, Kiyono said, "We have all been working together since November of last year on filming, and it finally starts tomorrow. I would be happy if many people watch it. I hope we can show everyone what it's like behind the scenes of the job of a command and control officer."
Also attending the press conference were Koji Seto, Mikami Ai, Ichinose Hayate, Maehara Ko, Nakamura Yuri, and Sato Koichi. The MC was Tsutsumi Reimi, an announcer for the same station.
The drama will start on January 13th. The first episode will be 30 minutes longer.
