Kanna Hashimoto , who plays Aihara Mika, also known as "Chanmika," a friend of the protagonist's older sister Ayumu (played by Riisa Naka ) in the NHK Asadora drama "Omusubi " (General TV, Monday to Saturday at 8:00 AM and others), starring Hashimoto Kanna, participated in the "Hoekago Procession" held in conjunction with the "Toka Ebisu" festival at Imamiya Ebisu Shrine (Naniwa Ward, Osaka City) on January 10th.
The "Hokei Kago Procession" is an annual New Year's event in which people parade through the city in colorful palanquins from Dotonbori to Imamiya Ebisu Shrine.
Matsui commented, "It was so much fun to be in the middle of the atmosphere of 'THE festival.' People along the road told me 'I'm watching you,' and called out their support, so I felt such warmth that I didn't feel cold at all and it was a really fun procession." Regarding the " Omusubi," she said, "ChanMika will be performing a lot later this month, so please look forward to it!"
"Omusubi" is a "Heisei youth graffiti" in which the heroine, born in 1989, connects people's hearts and futures as a nutritionist, with the "gal spirit" of valuing one's individuality at all times.
