On January 11th, actress Haru appeared at the production presentation for the drama series "Frame of Mind" (Fuji TV, Tuesdays at 9pm), which she stars in and will start on the 21st, held in Tokyo. Haru plays Hiiragi Hyougetsu, a female detective with an instant memory ability known as "camera eye" in the drama, and said, "I'm also the type who tends to remember things from the past," revealing with a laugh, "When something I want to forget suddenly comes back to me, I say, 'Ahh!'"
Also, when asked about the ability she would be happy to have, in relation to her ability to instantly remember, Haru said with a wry smile, "Eyes that open even when it's bright. I really don't like bright things, so I squeeze my eyes and they get really small. During filming, I'm often told to 'try your best to keep your eyes open,'" she said. Furthermore, she listed "super strength" as another ability she would like to have, explaining, "If you have super strength, you can probably do something about the dangerous things you want to avoid in life. Even if you're about to get hit by a car, you can just deflect the car," and made the room laugh when she said, "I'd like to play a super strength role (in the future)."
The drama is about a female detective, Hiiragi Hiyori, who has an instantaneous memory ability called "camera eye," and struggles to solve cases with eccentric detectives while facing a past that she cannot forget even though she wants to. The original work is by Takahashi Yuya, who has worked on "Mountain Doctor" (Kantele) and the "Kamen Rider" series, and will be directed by Sato Yuichi, who has worked on "City Hunter" (Netflix).
Also attending the event were Koji Yamamoto, and members of the popular group SixTONES, Morimoto Shintaro, Yuki Kura, and Kashiwagi Yu.
