It has been announced that entertainers John Kabira and Chiaki Horan will act as hosts in the Japanese studio for the live broadcast (WOWOW) of the 67th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony to be held in Los Angeles, USA on February 3, 2025 (Japan time). This marks Kabira's 20th year as a host, and Horan has been conveying the appeal of the Grammy Awards since the 56th ceremony.
Beyonce received the most nominations this year with 11, followed by Charli XCX and Post Malone with eight, Billie Eilish and Kendrick Lamar each with seven, and Sabrina Carpenter, Chapel Lawn and Taylor Swift with six each.
Beyonce, Billie Eilish, and Taylor Swift are nominated in the major categories of Record of the Year, Album of the Year, and Song of the Year. Sabrina Carpenter and Chapel Lawn are nominated in the four major categories, including Best New Artist. It will be interesting to see whether Beyonce will win in the country music category, her first nomination, and whether she will win Album of the Year.
Another noteworthy point is that "Now And Then," the Beatles' last new song, has been nominated for "Record of the Year" and other awards.
WOWOW's "Live Coverage! 67th Annual Grammy Awards Ceremony" will be broadcast live and streamed in two languages (simultaneous interpretation) from 9:00 am on February 3rd next year. A subtitled version will be broadcast and streamed from 10:00 pm on the same day.

Of course, there are plenty of things to look out for this year as well! The Grammy Awards are an awards where artists and people in the music industry praise each other's achievements. Of course, it's not a showdown between artists, but this year, we can't take our eyes off the "Grammy composition" of Beyonce and Taylor Swift. What's amazing is that Beyonce has been nominated in 11 categories across four genres, but she has not won the most prestigious award, Best Album, despite being nominated five times.
