It has been announced that the second season of the TV anime series "Bye Bye, Earth," based on Tow Ubukata's fantasy novel, will begin airing and streaming in April 2025. In preparation for the second season, the first movement of the first season will be released for free on WOWOW's official YouTube channel, and movements 1 to 5 will be streamed for free on WOWOW On Demand. WOWOW will broadcast all episodes of the first season at once from 8:00 a.m. on January 2, 2025.
A special video narrated by Saori Hayami, who plays Sherry, titled "Saori Hayami Navigates: Looking Back on ' Bye Bye, Earth' Through the Characters!" will be streamed on WOWOW On Demand at 10:00 a.m. on December 26th.
The story is about a girl named Labrack Belle, born as the only human in a world inhabited by beastmen in the form of various animals, who decides to go on a journey to find her roots with a large sword in hand, and faces many challenges... Fairouz Ai plays the main character, Belle.
The original work was published in 2000 and was said to be "impossible to film", but after more than 20 years, a TV anime series was broadcast and streamed. The first season aired on WOWOW and other networks from July to September.
