The artists and songs to appear on the music special "66th Shining! Japan Record Awards," which will be broadcast live on TBS from 5:30 pm on December 30th, have been announced. GLAY and Ayumi Hamasaki, winners of the "Special Award," have been confirmed to appear and will perform their hit songs.
GLAY, who are celebrating their 30th anniversary since their debut, will perform three songs, "Winter, Again," "Kuchibiru," and "Sayonara wa Yasashiku." Hamasaki will sing "Voyage" and "Born To Be...." Other songs that will be featured this year include "Tomorrow x Together" performing "One Oath (We'll Never Change)," and "Creepy Nuts" performing "Bling-Bang-Bang-Born" and "Otonoke."
The winners of the Special International Music Award, Atarashii Gakko!, will perform "Tokyo Calling." LE SSERAFIM will perform "CRAZY -Japanese ver." Matsumoto Takahiro, winner of the Planning Award, will perform "Roppongi Shinju" with LiSA, and milet, winner of the Best Vocal Award, will sing "hanataba."
The program will be broadcast live for four and a half hours from the New National Theatre in Shibuya, Tokyo, and will be hosted by TBS announcer Shinichiro Yasuzumi and actor Haruna Kawaguchi.
