On December 19th, it was revealed that McDonald's will collaborate with the anime "Neon Genesis Evangelion," which will celebrate its 30th anniversary of TV broadcast in 2025. This will be the first time that McDonald's will collaborate with the series.
The first of these will be the "McDonald's x Evangelion Value Set Figures," which will be released at McDonald's restaurants nationwide from January 20, 2025. Applications are now being accepted for the lottery sale of a set of three figures of McDonald's popular products, the Big Mac, French Fries, and Shake, which transform into Evangelion Unit-01, Unit-02, and Unit-00, respectively.
A commercial introducing the first wave of "Miraculous Transformable Figures" will begin airing on December 24th. The commercial will introduce the collaboration with a story that evokes famous scenes from the anime. Details of the second wave will be announced on December 26th.
