The drama "Tamiou R Inspired by Ikeido Jun" (TV Asahi, Tuesdays 9pm) starring actor Kenichi Endo will air its final episode (episode 8) on December 10th. It has also been announced that Nennen from the comedy duo "Hiyoshi Nakayoshi", who is well-known for his Endo imitation, and Aoki Macho from the comedy duo "Kakeyochi" will also appear.
In the final episode, Taizan (Endo) decides to call a snap election, but it turns into a fierce three-way election battle with the new party "Honke Minseito" launched by Futaki (Kishibe Ittoku), who left the Minseito, and the new party "Neo Nippon" launched by political commentator Hasunuma (Mitsushima Shinnosuke). Futaki, who is adept at reading the trends of the times, makes a suggestion to Hasunuma.
Meanwhile, Nitta (Yamauchi Keiya) of the Public Security Bureau arrests Narita (Nakamura Ikuji) of Narita Company, the mastermind behind the body swaps. When Taizan meets him, Narita tells him a shocking truth. Meanwhile, Taizan has now been swapped with an AI (artificial intelligence)... and so the story unfolds.
The drama is a sequel to "Tamiou" (Tournament King), which aired in July 2015, and is the first in about nine years. It is a fantastic story in which Taizan Muto, who has been approached by the Prime Minister again, randomly switches places with a citizen in each episode.
