A tribute book to celebrate the 90th anniversary of the birth of the late Fujiko F. Fujio, known for the popular manga "Doraemon," titled "Fujiko F. Fujio Tribute & Original Anthology F THE TRIBUTE" (Shogakukan) was released on November 22nd.
A stellar lineup of authors including Asano Inio, Ishiguro Masakazu, Yoshizaki Mine, Watanabe Wataru, and Owara Sumihito participated in the book, and it contains a total of 16 works, including eight works published in the third issue of "F Life" (same publisher) in 2014 to commemorate Fujiko's 80th anniversary, plus eight newly drawn works.
The lineup includes Asano's "D" tribute to "Doraemon," Ishiguro's "Esper Mami" tribute "The Sonic Box," Yoshizaki's "Doraemon" tribute "On the Island of Time and Space," Watanabe's "Doraemon" tribute "Nobita's Search," and Odo's "Doraemon" tribute "Disaster on the Wish Planet." Interviews with each artist are also included. The price is 2,980 yen.
