The second event for the TV Asahi program "Mayurika and the Begging Fruit Zipper" (Wednesdays at 2:15am, excluding some areas), "Mayurika and the Begging Fruit Zipper Live Mayufuru School Festival - Autumn Kawaii Festival", was held on November 6th at Toyosu PIT (Koto-ku, Tokyo) with two performances, one in the afternoon and one in the evening. A total of 2,400 seats were sold out for the two performances, and the evening performance also featured a collaboration with a "super idol".
This event, which followed the first one in August this year, was themed around a "school festival", and the comedy duo "Mayurika" and idol group "FRUITS ZIPPER", who are teaming up on the program, took on various projects of their own devise.
The evening performance began with an "a cappella" project proposed by Nakatani of Mayurika. Keio University's a cappella circle K.O.E. They performed "CHE.R.RY," which they had practiced in collaboration with Mayurika, live in front of the program fans. Sakamoto from Mayurika was in charge of the essential voice percussion. Before the performance, Sakamoto muttered, "Can beatboxing make you laugh?", but showed off his skills that were hard to believe it was his first time.
Chinzei Suzuka also participated in a tough comedy event called "KOC (King of Chinzei)," in which she performed one-liner gags devised by six comedians on their behalf, competing to see which gag was the funniest. She showed her true strength by performing gags alone in front of 1,200 people.
Finally, there was a special live performance by FRUITS ZIPPER, but before that, for the opening act, "ZiDol," a group formed by five members of Yoshimoto Kogyo, including Nakatani, appeared, calling them "super idols." They performed "Sekira no Rira" in collaboration with Hayase Noel and Manaka Mana, and livened up the venue.
At the special live performance, six songs were performed, including their signature song "Watashi no Ichiban Kawaii Tokoro." At Mayurika's request, "CO-Individuality" was also performed, and the show ended with great excitement until the very end.
