It has been revealed that the TV anime "Please Wear It, Takamine-san," based on the manga by Hiiragi Yuichi currently being serialized in "Gangan Joker" (Square Enix), will begin airing in April 2025. The main cast has also been announced, with voice actress Kubo Yurika playing the heroine Takamine Takamine, "the girl who takes off her panties and travels through time." Kasuya Daisuke will play ordinary high school student Shirota Takashi. Two teaser PVs, a "healthy version" and a "gentleman version," have also been released on YouTube as the first anime footage.
Kubo commented, "After I was cast, it was just a fun project, from reading the original novel and the script to playing Takamine-san and spending time with everyone on set, but when it was announced like this, I was so nervous that I was as excited as Shirota-kun. And, I'm sorry to be so personal, but it's rare that the name of the character I'm playing is in the title of a film, so I'm especially happy. Takamine-san is a beautiful and sexy girl, but even within that, there's a pure side that she can't hide that makes her really, really cute and endearing, so I hope that everyone who watches will be able to see her charm in all of those aspects." Kasuya commented, "I'm grateful for this important role, and I'm as nervous as Shirota in the show, but I'm having fun dubbing every line. I'm sure fans of the original work are excited to see what kind of Takamine they'll get to see in the TV anime. It's a wonderful work with funny and cute interactions between very pure characters. The manga has been serialized since January 2019, and tells the story of how Shirota, an ordinary high school student, sees a certain sight of Takamine, the student council president and top of the school caste system, and his school life begins to change... Takamine has the ability to travel through time by taking off her pants, which has become a hot topic.
