It has been announced that noteworthy matches from the league phase of the European soccer tournament "UEFA Champions League," which is being broadcast live exclusively by WOWOW, will be screened as live viewing at AEON Cinemas nationwide.
The UEFA Champions League, which decides the European soccer club champion, has undergone major changes to its tournament format this season, with the number of participating teams being increased to 36. A league phase has been introduced in place of the group stage, with big clubs competing against each other from the early stages of the tournament.
The public viewing has been made possible by a collaboration between WOWOW and AEON Entertainment, which operates AEON Cinemas. The matches will be from Matchday 4 (November 7th), Matchday 5 (November 28th), and Matchday 6 (December 12th) in the league phase.
The matches, screening times, commentators, etc. are as follows (titles omitted for commentary and live commentary). Admission to all of these matches will begin at midnight on the day of the live viewing.
Tickets cost 4,000 yen and allow you to watch two matches with one ticket. Visitors will receive digital benefits. Tickets will go on sale from midnight on October 26th through Aeon Cinema's online ticket sales service "e-seat reserve".
