A hostage situation occurs at the school that Yoshiki (Kokona Kaku) and Hisa (Rana Tanida) once attended. The two head to their alma mater and are reunited with their former teacher, Miya Sakaura (Hina Yamada). Yoshiki tries to negotiate with the hostage-taker but is shot and finds himself in a desperate situation. Hisa is forced to make a major decision...

"Super Space Sheriff Gavan Infinity" is the first installment of Toei's new tokusatsu series, "PROJECT RED." While inheriting the visuals and sci-fi elements of the original "Space Sheriff Gavan," which aired from 1982 to 1983, it is a completely new "Gavan" reconstructed with the latest visual expression and directing methods. The story unfolds in a worldview based on the "multiverse theory," which posits that there is not just one universe.
