The NHK Taiga drama "BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）", starring actor Taiga Nakano, will air on NHK General on Sundays at 8 PM and other times. Starting with the 21st episode, "Turbulent Times! Takeda Castle," which airs on May 31st, Danko Ichikawa will appear as Ran Mori.
"BROTHERS IN ARMS （Toyotomi Brothers!）" is the 65th Taiga drama. With Toyotomi Hidenaga (Koichiro) as the protagonist, it depicts the miraculous feat of unifying Japan together with his older brother Hideyoshi (Tokichiro) through their strong bond, a success story of dreams and hopes.
The script is written by Hiroyuki Yatsu, known for his work on "Hanzawa Naoki" (TBS) and the Asadora drama series "Ochoyan." The music is composed by Hideaki Kimura, and the narration is provided by actress Sakura Ando.
Mori Ran was the third son of Mori Yoshinari. He served Oda Nobunaga as a page from a young age and eventually became a close attendant.
This marks Dango's first appearance in a historical drama series, where he will play the role of Mori Ran. A photo of him in costume has also been released.
