Musao, known for manga such as "Love and Lies" and "Boyfriend, Sometimes Girlfriend," has launched a new series called "Lilim Holic" in the 24th issue of the manga magazine "Weekly Shonen Magazine" (Kodansha), which went on sale on May 13th.
The new series is a romantic comedy about misunderstandings between a secretly perverted succubus and a secretly perverted, high-minded guy. Set in a society where people coexist with succubi, the story follows the intertwined feelings of the protagonist, Yui Hayato, and his otaku friend and classmate, Kato Emu, a succubus who belongs to the highest caste in their class.
Musao, who is doing a weekly serialization for the first time in about four years, commented, "This is my first time doing a weekly serialization in Weekly Shonen Magazine, so I'm nervous. I was so anxious that I was looking for a skilled hypnotist who could hypnotize me into believing that I could do a weekly serialization (I didn't end up going to one)."
